About Me
Hello, Gen X! Welcome to my About Me page. This is where I'm supposed to tell you how wonderful I am, drop my Master's in Mental Health Counseling credentials, mention I'm licensed in New York and Connecticut, and list all the reasons I'm great at helping with anxiety, burnout, and trauma. But that's not happening because you want to know what makes me different and how I will help you. Plus, I'm a sucker for random facts, and trivia, so let's start there instead.

I was born on a Military base because 70’s and 80’s parenting choices need to be studied, hard! The Muppets, PBS and Eddie Murphy shaped my humor. If Manhattan is so dope, why do the world's people choose to live in Queens?! I love authentic and colonized tacos and believe pizza should never be sold by a chain. The Empire Strikes Back schooled the world in amazing storytelling! In second grade, I took our leftover Halloween candy to school and sold it to my classmates—watching pennies being removed from loafers was gratifying!

Now on to the stuff you really want to know…
I'm the person who'll remember the name you picked out for the dog you never got because your younger brother had asthma and allergies. I will listen to what you say and help you process what you don't say out loud. I get how intense your life is—midlife ain't no joke!

I will not tell you what to do or hand out advice. That's not the job. My role is working with you to figure out why you think, feel, and respond the way you do. My job is getting to know you—why you think, feel, and respond to people and situations in ways that once served you but now keep you stuck. I will ask the tough questions that help you voice all the things you're avoiding saying and keep doing out of obligation, guilt, and fear. I will help you reclaim your time and your life!
